I’ve had the itch to redo my site for a while now. I’m not a designer and I’ve not been super happy with the look of the site and so I decided to do something about it.

This new look is inspired by the 1976 Keyset from Pimp My Keyboard. I want to get these keycaps for my Keychron K2 but I’m I still need to find out if it’ll work with this keyboard. The color scheme just really caught my eye.

This theme is using the Genesis Framework with a custom child theme. This is just the beginning of the new look. There are already a dozen little tweaks I want to make that’ll make this even more polished. I’m also going to redo the home page so that it breaks things up into some sections like Software Engineering, Writing, Photography and other interest like that.

Anyway, this is just a starting point. Let’s call it version 0.0.1. I’ll be tweaking on it on and off during this long weekend and probably for at least another 3-4 weeks until I have it sorted out. If like it well enough maybe I’ll release it.
